Laura Santanchè studied in Rome, then in Verona, with Castellani, and also with Kate Clark. Maurizio Salmoiraghi studied with Paolo Pandolfo,and has taken part in many recordings. Donatella Galletti studied first the guitar with Aldo Minella , then the lute, with Paolo Cherici, getting the two Diplomas at Conservatorio " G.Verdi "of Milan. She also followed courses with Jakob Lindberg, and has taken part in recordings.

The aim of this group is to explore a repertoire not played yet, looking for manuscripts requiring this particular ensemble, and to give music the dimension it probably had at the time it was written, paying a particular attention to the sound and the way of playing, which should remind of very different Affetti .
