English Chamber Orchestra in London
23-10-2007
English Chamber Orchestra presents Raymond Leppard’s legendary realisations of Cavalli and Monteverdi at Cadogan Hall, London on 31 October 2007. These editions were some of the first to introduce early operatic masterpieces to the general public of the twentieth century, and create exquisite, lush orchestral sounds and highlight the beautiful characteristics of the music.

In one of the most in-depth exploration of baroque repertoire that ECO has undertaken in recent years, these operatic extracts are complemented with music by Handel.

Tickets range from £10-£35 and can be booked from the box office at Cadogan Hall: +44 (0)20 7730 4500 and online at www.cadoganhall.com
