GRUYÈRES EARLY MUSIC WORKSHOP
01/07/2008
24 to 31 August 2008.
The 2007 Gruyères Early Music Workshop was devoted to the Renaissance guitar, and included a guitar-building workshop and a ball. The 2008 Festival again centres on the guitar and on the concept of linking instrument building and music making, but sets off in a radically different direction by focusing on both the romantic guitar and the little-known arpeggione.

FESTIVAL HARMONIQUES
19/02/2008
4 to 6 April 2008.
The piano saw considerable development in the early 19th century, due in large part to the rise of the bourgeoisie. Numerous changes in instrument building took place during this period, particularly as concerned fortepianos.

EARLY MUSIC WORKSHOPS IN GRUYÈRES
18/06/2007
26 August to 2 September.
This year the Gruyères early music workshops will be entirely dedicated to the theme of the Renaissance ball.
