12 October to 29 November 2008. The 7th year of this sacred music festival in Rome will feature concerts in each of the four magnificent Patriarchal Basilicas of the city: The Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls, St. Ignatius, St Peter and St John Lateran.
3 to 5 October 2008. 2008 marks the 21st year of the Cremona Mondomusica International Exhibition of Handcrafted Musical Instruments and Violin-Making Accessories. Mondomusica is fundamentally an exhibition of instrument makers, for years largely emphasising, logically enough, violin builders.
4 to 31 August 2008. Taking as its theme 'Facing East', this year’s Bolzano Festival will explore the music of Eastern Europe and the Middle East, with special emphasis on Russian and Polish baroque composers. Half-festival, half-early music academy, the 2008 event features The Soloists of Catherine the Great.
