19 to 23 September. The East Cork Early Music Festival was founded in 2003 by artistic director Sarah Cunningham, and brings together some of the best international performers, with world class musicians living in Ireland and younger players. Programming has combined some of the great baroque masterpieces -including a Brandenburg Concerto each year- with exploration of lesser-known repertoire, along with Irish music from earlier centuries.
The Galway Early Music Festival is proud to present musical piracy in all its forms: music pertaining to piracy, music from the time of piracy, musical piracy by baroque composers and performers who take a piratical approach to their music!
