A minimum of three concerts per day (at 14.30, 17.00 and 21.00) are scheduled, the main attractions being showcased in the evening concerts. This year’s festival, directed by Jean-Bernard Meunier, opens with a concert entitled "Cantates Napolitaines" performed by Capella de’Turchini under the direction of Antonio Florio. The programme includes works by Gallo, Vinci, Jommelli, Ugolini and Fagioli, among others.
On 23 August, concert of the day will be a performance of Grande messe à la chapelle de l’empereur Rudolf II by Ensemble Doulce Mémoire under the direction of Denis Raisin-Dardre. On Thursday 24 August, La Fenice and the Namur Chamber Choir conducted by Jean Tubéry will perform the programme "Trionfi Sacri: musique festive à Saint Marc de Venise".
Two exceptional concerts are scheduled for Friday 25 August: Sigiswald Kuijken’s La Petite Bande will perform a programme of Bach cantatas and Christina Pluhar’s L’Arpeggiata will give a concert of Monteverdi’s Madrigali guerrieri et amorosi.
The festival closes on Saturday 26 August with Chiara Banchini’s Ensemble 415, in concert with the countertenor Carlos Mena and the bass Antonio Abete as soloists, in a programme of Zelenka’s Lamentations. Also on the final day of the festival the Ricercar Consort and the Namur Chamber Choir under the direction of Philippe Pierrot, will perform Semele by Marin Marais.
Other concerts will feature Chiara Banchini, Ensemble Musica Florea, Les Plaisirs du Parnasse and Compagnie L’Eventail, the latter in the first performance of their new programme "Dialogues", including music by Vivaldi and Bach, with choreography by Marie-Geneviève Massé.
