The singing and instrumental courses are designed according to the specific capabilities of each participant and all participants practice the solo repertory, play chamber music, sing in the choir and take part in the concert, "Come all ye songsters of the sky".
For their part, the dance students will prepare dances from Purcell’s The Fairy Queen, which will be presented during the concert "One Charming Night", performed by the instructors of the course under the baton of Markus Schikora on 21 July.
The musicians chosen to run this year’s courses are Jordi Argelaga, baroque oboe, Xavier Carrau, baroque violin and viola, Ricard Casañ, baroque trumpet, Jordi Comellas, viola da gamba, Ignasi Jordà, harpsichord, Andreas Martin, lute and guitar, Pilar Montoya, historical dance, Markus Schikora, voice and Joan Vives, recorder.
In addition to those already mentioned, the concerts scheduled to take place are: the program "Ye gentle spirits of the air, appear!", music for violin and harpsichord in England during the seventeenth century, performed by Xavier Carrau (violin) and Ignasi Jordà (harpsichord) on 14 July; and popular "Country Dances", conducted by Pilar Montoya on 19 July.
