Lauded by Richard Dyer of the Boston Globe for his "beauty of sound, precision of intonation, and vividness of declamation", Andreas Scholl makes his BEMF début with a splendid solo recital. Together with the eminent harpsichordist Markus Märkl, Scholl will present an enchanting evening of musical storytelling, including songs and cantatas by the notable German composers Krieger, Hammerschmidt, and Handel.

You won’t want to miss this superb singer, hailed by audiences and critics alike as "far and away the greatest of contemporary counter-tenors".
